ENTREPRENEURSHIP 101
Entrepreneurship 101 is broken into two parts. Day 1 takes learners through the basics of starting their own business. From coming up with a concept to gathering intelligence for the business plan and securing financing, the workshop provides tips, tools and techniques to move a business idea into a successful new venture. Day 2 of the workshop focuses on operations and the fundamentals behind making it through the first year. Topics covered include challenges and opportunities that can be expected, assessment and fine-tuning of business plan forecasts along with execution of marketing and communications to ensure customers are continually engaged. Interactive, fun and loaded with takeaway resources, Entrepreneurship 101 provides an opportunity for students to walk away with a business plan shell as well as an operations/tactical plan outline.
